drop me an e-mail, You can ship it to my work and I'll toss it in the truck, thats what Chi did a few years back.

Let us know your air-travel plans and one of us (i.e. Binder or myself probably) will swing in to PU up or meet you somewhere. Chi is flying in as well, but I think he is coming in early. IIRC a few years back he and Mechanos teamed up and shared a room down by the airport to make a sort of "meeting point" and split costs.

SO where's the crazy Cajun???? Wouldn't be right to have no doushbag shirt or gator jokes!!! :

Fly in to where, Seattle? I'll reread the thread after work in case I missed it.

Jetfxr tip for the day, FedX all your stuff for the trip except a small carry on, you know it will be there, no up fees for baggage, and you won't have to screw around with baggage clam or TSA. When my Mom comes out to Montana to visit she FedXs all her junk, carries a tooth brush in her hand bag she's good to go with no airport hassles and her stuff is here waiting on her. Same going home plus she can always take more home than she brought.

well, you know your travel plans, but I can only assume that you will be flying into Sea-Tac (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport). Unless your going to take a 3-hr taxi ride to the trail head, the assumption would be that you'd be looking for a pick-up and drop off at the airport

changes

It looks like Phil is not going. Phil's mom broke her remaining foot, and needs 24-hour care. Our Steens Mountain trip got cancelled at the last minute because of it, and he is not going to be able to make Naches either. She is laid up for about 12 weeks.

Between my new son, people bagging on the Steens trip, and Phil having to stay home, I have not been able to go anywhere this year. I will be leaving Portland on the 15th to make a road/offroad/camping trip to try to salvage the remainder of the summer. I am headed down to Burns first, and who knows from there. If I come up to Naches, it will only be for a day on my way to somewhere else. I am not saying I won't be there, just don't count on me.

SeaTac....Touch base with ChiScouter on his travel times. It would be much easier if we could pick up both of you from the airport at once....I'll have a camper on my truck this year so it cuts down my cargo room for bags and such. If you guys could mail excess stuff up front it will be easier to figure out transport....
One way or the other it will all work.

Mr Binder Sir,
I believe my pussy a$$ed jeep owner side may have to say that I will end up having to work. I hate to bitch about working to much in this economy, but I know I will be working Friday for sure and maybe still the weekend...
It still will bother me not to be there to tow your shit around...

Figured that, and I don't have a problem with that. Bummer he can't make it, I think we've run into each other before, but always nice to put new names and faces together.

I gather Big Mark and Scott are no-shows this year (since Scott's rigs in pieces and I see Big Mark's selling his CJ-8)

Big Mark sold his Jeep but now has another "wheeling" rig. I invited him too but haven't heard if he's going...I invited Scott too but yeah his rig is in pieces..

I called and left him a message yesterday, no response yet. I'm not home at the moment, but IIRC I have the 16th through the 20th off.
