Sounds like a good plan but like others have said it's lots of fuel for like myself with a 10 gallon tank....I'm game but I would have to carry a extra can or bum it off on someone who has room for it.....Or possibly stash a can somewhere towards the top or Kaner maybe....

Not having reverse should save you some fuel

Its only about 25 miles of trail and 15 miles of FS road. Maybe lighten up a bit on the skinny pedal you leadfoots.

True. I could probably make it even on my 10 gallon tank so most of you guys shouldn't have a problem.

That was on the Naches trail and it must have been about 03 or so. It was before you crashed in 04 and after the all nighter run in 02..
Yeah the 2wd Yota. That was special.

I'm saying it was after the Roundup in 2003. We (the Oregon crowd) all drove up together on I-5 - Dan went on the trail ride and broke all sorts of stuff...

I had just moved back to OR so I didn't go on the trail ride that year.

I think so. I remember the trail rides back then were on mondays after the show. You have to remember too, back then, I ALWAYS broke stuff

Sounds like you're thinking of a different trail run.....The run it sounds like you're thinking of is when Dan broke the high steer arm from the knuckle in big red. That was on lake Isabelle....and I didn't break anything. The rag joint failure was on the Naches trail and I towed my trailer to the rig on FS roads to retrieve it.....Unless I have it all screwed up?

When I said "you" I meant Dan. But you are right that would be a different run -- seems like he broke something major everytime he went up there with you guy!

My tilt wheel is still fucked...it won't tilt down into my lap. This might hamper my weekend.
