I would love to chat with you about your setup and compare notes on our rigs. I am getting ready to redo my VX race truck and want to link the front and from the looks of your pictures looks like you've done that.

No major issues to speak of other than chasing fuel delivery problems. It seemed like i was getting vapor lock or boiling fuel on the hot road days. so bad that it ended up puking fuel out of my charcoal canister. I bypassed the canister and just had it go back into the filler neck and then drilled a hole in the gas cap to let it vent more. Then it started sputtering and dying when the tank was above 3/4. These are problems I have had in the past as well but never seem to remedy before a big trip

Chasing stuff like that can get old. Especially when it's 100 degrees outside.

Glad it did well. Lookig forward to the videos of the trip

Saw it pop up on Fred's insta and was stoked to see it out there.

Quick question- how does one get ones hands on a set of those Falken 38's?

Bump

Just started watching UA2017 on MTOD. Looks like you guys have a good trip planned out this year.

But @oddrod4x4 how come skyjacker is allowed on UA and then drags the American flag all over the trails they did it last year and they did it again this year. It's a disgrace they use the flag as a marketing tool and drag it all over the ground.

I enjoy this rig quite a bit. On the UA17 video they kept mentioning weight. What is the weight of the Amigo?

Whoa!

I just finished watching the new UA. So glad i decided to just check out the Suzu page! I watch DED religiously, and ive been an avid Petersens reader since before I can remember! My dad has always subscribed and always had a Bronco that hed beat up. I just got myself a Samurai to DD and weekend trail drive here in Central Illinois, and now hes wanting me to find him one too since his last Bronco finally gave up the ghost lol.

You guys do amazing builds, i wish i had a fraction of your knowledge and fab skills. Yes...i just went all fanboy lol. Thanks for all you do, keep up the great work!

Btw, is Pewe as cool as Ive always imagined him to be lol???

I dig the Suzuki's too! I have had a couple samurais and a tracker now. They are such cool rigs. Thanks for watching the show. Fred and I enjoy doing them. Yes, Pewe is a good dude. He and I get along really well.

Little update.. I found a good buyer for the amigo. A guy named Tim has it in san diego area and continues to wheel it. He's a little better at keeping it maintained and finishing the small projects on it than I was. It's nice selling something and seeing it enjoyed.
