Sad news, Joe Darlington has passed away.

For those Zu Heads who have heard if him or are friends with Joe Darlington, I'm sad to say he passed away New Years Day as best we can figure. He was found by a friend on the 2nd. Sadly he died alone with nothing but his fur buddies.

He had been batteling throat cancer and we all thought he had it beat. But his weight was down to 100 lbs and he was having a hard time eating.

Joe was the kind of Guy who would give you the shirt off his back and help you button it.
He always went that extra mile, and more to help out others.

Truly a unique individual.
I last talked to him on Thanksgiving where we made plans to wheel together in Uwarrie.

He was my good friend for over 18 years and I will miss him.

No arraingements as of yet. None of his family lives near him.
If I hear anything about it I will pass the info along to you folks here.
The Isuzu Trader Board on Facebook has a lot of comments and pictures of him should you be interested in reading them.

Yea he was, but I'm not sure what his log on name was here.
Or how long ago his last post was.

Many of the Isuzu Community here knew and appreciated Joe. As well as many other Zu Forums.

He was the Owner, Fabricator/ Head Welder and Chief Janitor of Darlington Off Road Products. (In the Isuzu Groups)

His Isuzu bumpers are famous.

If you didn't know him you missed a great guy. He knew Isuzu's well.

Man... that's horrible to hear. Joe was an outstanding guy. He helped guide me in building my first Rodeo.... he helped me install(did most of the work along with his fab man Vic) my first lift (DOR or course) it and my rock railz (also (DOR) for free. He just let me drive to him in Mountain Home, ID when he was there and walked me though what everything was.

He was always so generous and kind. Such a loss for the Isuzu community
