M.O.R.E offroad makes some frame plates to beef up that CJ frame.

So I need some input. This tire and wheel combo weighs roughly 170 lbs. I've got long joints and ten factorys for the front. I'm contemplating selling this stuff and going rcv. Let me know your thoughts..........

Love my RCVs, I see guys break chromos and joints all the time...but never my RCVs or anyone elses around here. I run 27 spline rcvs in my hp30 and another guy in my group has been running them in his rubi 44, 30 spline, no problems at all and we're the only ones not breaking. Oh, I run 35 krawlers on steel beadlocks and he runs 33s.

Thanks for the bad driving portion of the equation, I guess I usually leave that part out.

Just trying to paint the real picture for people to answer your question. You might not have painted the whole picture to get a realistic answer.

You're welcome.

It would look better with Fancy's apples behind the tires.

Do you really have a picture of yourself as your wall paper???

Are you sitting down in that pic?

Well, leave it to DE to paint the only picture you didn't want to see.
And I was waiting to see how long it was going to take to drag
Cap. Goat F'er into the conversation.

Who is that little kid hiding behind those tires?

Were you boys playin hide'n-seek in the barn again?

On a serious note.....your fronts will be fine. The guy posting about RCV's runs 44's = different universe.

I would put that $ into a set of 300M's for the rear. Mad Mac is the hook up.

Don't be scared, I am running 44 boggers on steel monster beadlocks with a 454, don't take it easy, and still have stock 30 spline 60 shafts with SPICER joints. Don't ask me how they have held up, they "just do" I guess...

I'm a short guy but damn these tires are just big........Farmdog we need to talk about some 300m..........

On a side note, I ordered some MORE frame plates for the front going to stitch them on.

Also flew out to Texas over the weekend for the Race.......it was awesome.

I'm south of the border but will be back tomorrow night.

Mac is on the PBB, username MAD MAC.

He owns and operates C&M performance machine.

Michigan made (so you know they are strait ballin) and the best on the market.

An old Skool rig from the knobs needs some double spline 300M sh!t......Kenny Jones can't even handle that.

I tried to order a 1410 14 bolt pinion yoke today but evidently they quit making them. Anyone have one laying around they want to get rid of-ubolt style?

Not to enthused about using the flange and companion. Might be staying with the 1350's at both ends.
