Superior work as usual Dave. I drool over this thing every time I swing by (coming from a Toyota guy).

Straight sexy!

Having done a v8 jeep before, it's not a one size fits all proposition. It comes down to how much cutting you want to do and how much up travel you want. Your entire drivetrain choice will also really influence how things fit. You really need to stick it in and move it around until you're happy, and try not to forget about the exhaust.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! It'll be a little while til I'm back on this thing...gotta do some work on other projects, and had the shop broken into this past weekend so that will take a little time to recover the tools.

Man I wish you weren't so backed up as I really am thinking about paying for somebody to redo my whole cage work/backhalf on my POS cj. It would be about 6 hrs of driving but worth it.

I don't have much to update, got a few more parts in and have one of the part timers doing work on it here and there.

Flipped intake so the filter is inside. Once the dash is finished it will get a cover panel for splash/dust protection.

new steering wheel, Sparco R375

Parts to build the tilt column and steering wheel disconnect

Never used this company before for wiring kits, but they came highly recommended to me. Pretty cool sealed fuse box setup where all the harnesses for different sections of the vehicle can unplug. Dash, front engine compartment, tail light section, etc. Also comes with a resettable 200 amp main circuit breaker.

Man Dave, that thing is going to be sick!

We missed you at the dirt riot nationals last weekend. It was a great time for everyone! Carl ran the car pretty hard as well!

Started playing with this thing again. Rear alum Genright fenders are mounted up and we've started trimming them. Another 1/2" out of the top and they're good to go!

Are you making another run of the side fenders that bolt to the OEM fender location? I have the same hood and grill and wouldn't mind picking up a set if you're able to make more.

Build looks too notch as usual.

Edit: I wouldn't mind a quote for door skins to 98503 as well if you're up for it. Those might be Savvy doors though

You wouldn't happen to have the door skins CAD or TorchMate file that you're willing to part with would you? I want to make some door skins on the TorchMate CNC table but don't have time to take measurements and draw it out.

Yep once the rear fenders are finished we'll move on to the front corners. It'll be easy enough for me to punch a few sets out. I can do a little step roll in them, cut the center out for mesh, or just leave them flat - let me know what you're interested in.

The guy to talk to about those doors is at the top of this page - Provelogear with Savvy Offroad. I built some dzus'd-on door skins awhile back, I can sell you a set of those but I don't really want to part with the file. Personally I like the Savvy doors better since they followed the factory door line.

Got the rear corners cut high enough to clear the tires at full stuff.

Front fender corner out of .050 alum, broken over on all 4 sides

Threw all the tires on for some perspective now that the fenders are all cut.

Sucker looks crazy wide, but it's only 83.5" outside of the tires.

Incredible work.

Is the hood and grill combo a TJ hood with a narrowed JK grill?

It looks like a Jimmy's JK front clip.

I'm sure he'll chime in, but I run the same hood and grill. Made by the same people that made your TJ grill Hurley, also where Jimmys gets their hoods and grills. Well made and pretty fast turnaround. They shipped Thursday and it was at my door Saturday.

With Dave's small side skirt fenders it really brings out the lines between the tub and the new hood.
