Fordyce Creek at 500 CFM

IS NO FAWKIN JOKE!

HUGE FUCKING THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!

Especially Aggro and Randii, who were both half way into the river coming after me as I came up from the longest 20 or 30 seconds in my life. Both of them took care of the rig while I sat on the shore trying to both warm up and think about what just happened

Gnarliest wheeling experience of my life BY FAR.

Thank you again guys. All beer is on me for a very long time.....

Wow, it's scary just looking at the pics. Good thing you're ok.

Damn, who had the huevos to stand and take the pics while the Jeep was going over? No flaming, I just know if it was me, the camera would've been broken on the rocks while I was rushing to the Jeep, ofcourse the pics don't tell the real sequence of events.

I'm glad you're OK. That is a serious panic button pushing situation. You kept cool enough to get out of your lapbelt, some wouldn't.

I take my lapbelt off when I'm in a serious tilt near a stream or if I'm wheelin' in any kind of deep water. (I am a firm believer in seatbelts in ANY other situation)

What do the rest of you do?

I loosened it before entering the water. I wanted it there to hol dme from bouncing around and keep me IN the rig if it rolled, but loose enough to get off easily if I needed to. My planned work

Multiple rolls down river I was attached to Aggro's rig and as soon as I started to go he gassed it HARD. Thats the reason of the location difference from the 2nd pic and the 3rd. I am glad too....cause where I ended up was much less fierce than where I actually rolled. Thanks for being on it Brian!!!!!!!!!!!

ah, I thought it was just a slow shutter on the camera. damn good idea to be hooked up. any 'real' damage to the rig? did you cut your motor off in time?

Damn, you really lucked out on that one. Glad to hear you and your rig survived somewhat intact. Is there a lesson to be learned in all of this?

I havent tried to fire it up yet. Being TBI I just disco'd the battery and Aggro towed me out to the trailer. I already have a windshield lined up. Once that and the cage is on the rest is cosmetic, and I could care less about that. It all depends on if the motor runs or not. I never turned it off, but it was off before I came up for air....so we will see

Aggro and one other I won't mention for insurance reasons Aggro almost rolled as well, but his V8 and foe dees I think saved him. The 2 wranglers on the hill above me were supposed to be following us out. They CB'd over after my roll that they "Collectively decided against crossing"

Damn. I saw the name Keith come up in the Gen4x4 thread but did not realize that was you. Glad you are okay. You now have the best campfire story to tell for years.

If you were headed toward Cisco (Eagle Lakes trailhead) would that be the last crossing before you headed up the hill?

which crossing is that? First crossing (coming from Eagle Lakes Rd)? Did you come in that way or through Meadow?
