Budget TJ stretch

What is the cheapest way to get a TJ wheelbase to 100" if you're not going hardcore off road? If the answer is a 4 link does anyone have recent experience on a low budget source?

TJ is already "four link" from the factory. To reach 100" inch you need about. 6".

In a nutshell, you need long arms, brackets, longer driveshafts, and probably some trimming. Whether you buy off-the-shelf or build it yourself are probably looking at $2,500-$3,000.

I have a WFO kit on my LJ to stretch it. Was a lot of work, but it was worth it. They're great to deal with.

Another option...

Cut the body between the rear of the door and the front of the rear wheel well. Stretch the body and keep whatever suspension you already have. It's really easy to add some box steel to the straight section of frame. Plus you now have more room inside your jeep!

Stretch and cheap, what is your budget? Most think a stretch is easy but soon find out how much time and money it eats up. Are you thinking 3 link, parallel 4 link or triangulated? Conventional shocks and springs? Coil overs? Struts? What are you going to do with the fuel tank?

So you posted in Hardcore Jeep for non-hardcore questions...
