Does a charokee pre 1994, have the same dana35, as a 87 yj?

need new dana35 housing, and possibly go to Pick and Pull and get me a 35 from a charokee

Watch out for the Chysler 8.25 rear axle, some XJs, Cherokees have em. Also that housing will be a C-clip variety. Weaker and will bend easier than the older housings. Also the Cherokee is SOA in the rear.
