I am most likely the lowest member number “Newbie” at #19, but I read the site all the time. I figured I’d jump on here for my last post as a “Newbie”. I have gone to two of the Con Clean ups (they are killer, buy the way), but I still have less then 100 posts. So here is a picture of my 83 back in 1996. A lot has changed since then, but it’s the only pic I have here and it’s on the Con near the Springs.

Where's my Jeep? Try again.
The Tall skinny guy is not me, I am short and fat and apparently stuck in this pic.

The Tall Skinny guy was the only guy that would help put the yank strap on my submerged jeep.
His name is Mick, cool guy that Mick.

Red face

I no longer have a jeep; they took it away when they found the heads under the tarp in the back. I have been sitting here eating fava beans and living vicariously through all your postings. They say I’m better now and due to over crowding will be out soon. First thing I am going to do is stop taking this medication and then follow your announcements of up coming rides and join in all of them…can’t wait! BTW don’t look at me when we meet.

Exclamation

Just another JU ship jumper. I primarily lurk since most boards have so much BS on them.

I've worked in the parts aftermarket for 21 years. I only get to really wheel about 4 times a year. Hell, even dirt roads are hard to find around here.

My personal goal is a comfortable street machine that can do extreme trails.

1947 Willys CJ2A. Major custom work done. Everything done by me. In the process of changing engines. I also need to build a new hood since the wind bent mine over my windshield. Check picture.
