Question Question from ARB Air Locker first timer

Today I received shipment of a new Air Locker (RD93, Chrysler 8.25, 29-spline).

One side of the differential has the air seal housing and bearing pre-installed.

This bearing does not rotate freely. I this normal? The bearing will rotate with the seal housing but is *very* stiff. I have never felt a bearing rotate with any resistance without any preload applied, so this seems odd.

TIA.

What you are feeling are the o-rings. The new style quad o-rings can be pretty tight when new. Nothing to worry about.
