OEM LJ Shifter w/ 4l60E

I'm in the process of putting a 5.3 w/ a 4l60e in my 05 LJ. I've seen some folks use aftermarket shifter and did find a trace of a guy that got it to work with the OEM shifter but no write ups. Any body have any more info on this?

I wish I had the answer but I'm doing the same thing to my LJ and it seems like most people get rid of the center console and move the shifter. I'm wanting to keep it in the stock spot also but can't find a ton of info either. Hopefully someone will chime in.

I do like what this guy did. Seem like it would probably be easier.

I have a 6L90E with a car shifter (so tapshift works) in mine. The OEM LJ console is still there but the OEM shifter cover plate is not. The OEM car shifter boot is just hanging off the shifter and not secured yet. Once I get that wrapped up, it will look OEM. Only two pics I have handy. The OEM car shifter trim ring is off now and the boot is just hanging, which already looks a to better.

Maybe a CTS-V? Looks similar here:

What tcase shifter setup is that? Do the seats slide only, or does the passenger seat still jump? Is the cage custom?

I think the shifters are from AA. Yes the seats slide on OEM sliders. The passenger seat tilt does not work. Way easier to get in the back stepping on the tire from the side anyway. Poison Spyder cage.

I figured it out. 2011 Malibu. They're about $50 on Ebay.
