Stock frame side panhard bracket with one ton

Anybody use the stock frame side panhard bracket on a TJ after swapping in a Dana 60 front axle? I’m looking to use a hiem joint. But not sure if it would be strong enough. TJ is running 40s. Or would it be better to cut it out and install something like Riffstuff’s outside frame bracket?

This would be a good alternative to cutting it off entirely.

Thanks everybody. I’ll bite the bullet and cut it off and replace it.
