Cj5 sm465 shift fork linkage

So I have this SM465 to put in my cj5 behind my chevy LSx LM7. It came out of a 77 k20 and I dont know what to do about the shift fork linkage. Dont tell me to go hydrolic because I wont. I figure the k20 linkage is too long for my CJ5 so I would just cut it down to size and weld it back together. Any advice, opinions, suggestions? I need help

This is what I did yes ago and it worked great. The shift fork and adjustable throw out bearing I bought from Novak adapters. I slightly modified a stock cj z bar to slide into slightly modified cj brackets that bolted to the firewall and engine. I used all the rest stock cj pushrods elsewhere. Hope that makes sense cause I don’t have pics of it
