Rear brakes

Getting ready to stretch my Tj 7” in the rear and keeping the d44 for now. I want to keep my axle side coilover mount on the back side of the axle tube. Is there any reason I couldn’t switch the brake caliper mounting plates from side to side to be able to flip the calipers to front side of axle? Is there any foreseeable problems with this? Wanting to keep it a lcg.
