cj front outboard spring mounts

anybody got any good pics of this???

i need to start putting my chevy 44 under the cj and i want to get some ideas on how to get the spring hangers outside the frame...

I don't have a pic, but I used a big piece of angle iron wrapped around the frame with a brace welded to other side of the frame to support it. I only had to outboard mine about 2" on each side, so not sure if that would work for you.

I just did this to mine. worked out great. I put a drop box on my front bumper and put my front hangers on it. I also did a shacle reversal.

bad picture because of the resize. If you want a hi-res pic I can e-mail you some.

poison spyder has a kit for full width axles from a chevy i just installed one in my scrambler with no problems or even bluetorchfabs has a kit

Outboard spring kit

Go to the website mudslingerz.ca, bunch of guys from alberta. I got them to make me an outboard spring kit, and it is pretty slick. They have pictures of it on the site, both on the floor and in a CJ.
