97 TJ Auto gearbox breather

Firstly I cant find the search function on this board so if someone could tell me "how to" I'd apreciate it.

I've discovered the auto's breather in my 97 TJ is in the bell housing as I ford rivers & drive though deep bog holes from time to time this is far from ideal. So before I drown my auto I want to install a decent breather set up.

Where is the best place to drill & tap a breather in the tranny case? I don't want to distroy any thing when the bit breaks through!!

I put all the ones I do above the intermediate band. But I do when the trans is apart. There is like an 1/8' between the case and band. You have to pull the trans to plug the pump. Might as well pull the front and rear clutch out as well as the band. This way you take NO chance of running the drill bit, or better yet bottom the tap out on something.
