Question Soa Vs. Spring Lifts

i'M LOOKING FOR INFO ON SOA LIFTS VS. SPRING SUSPENSION LIFTS. GREEN TO JEEPS BUT NOT FABRICATION. WANT OPPINON ON WICH IS BETTER . HOW MUCH MORE DIFFICULT ONE IS TO THE OTHER. HAVE ACCESS TO WELDER AND TORCH. JUST LIMITED KNOWLEDGE TO SUSPENSION. HAVE A 91 YJ WANTING TO GO BIGGER AND BETTER. LIKE TO DO THE WORK MYSELF. RECOMENDATIONS FOR BRAND OF SUSPENSIONS WOULD HELP TOO. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP. PLEASE DONT FLAME TO BAD.

Please turn the caps off.

A bolt on kit is easier for a beginner. With a bolt on kit you can get close to the same amount of lift without worrying about setting driveline angles, making steering linkages work, preventing axle wrap, etc.

Try a search.

Like how big of tire are you planning on going?
What type of terrain do you like to wheel?
Like the previous member said. A bolt on kit is a good place for a beginner to start. Also is there any local clubs or groups in your area that you can get in touch with to see what they are running and why they are running their suspensions the way they are.
