custom skid

my custom skid ended up being about 5.5" lower than the frame in order for the rear driveline to not bind at full droop. this is on a yj. any opinions on whether or not this is to low.

Dang, the stock skid only hangs down about 4 inches, whats the purpose of a custom skid if it is lower than the stock skid? well, other than maybe being stronger. Sounds like you should add some limiting straps so the suspension doesn't droop so much and then you would be able to raise the skid a good bit.

Sounds like you need to spend some coin on a high quality rear driveshaft... or maybe you have a lift
