D44 install

I've got a rear D44 out of a DJ Jeep, that I would like to put into my 84 CJ...as you know it's a little narrower...will this be a problem..??? .can I put wheels on it that will compensate for the reduced width..or run it like it is....or should I sell it to a Samuri guy....and get something else that will be less troubel..thanks

If the gearing, bolt patten, spring pad is right for you and it's what you want and the price is right .... get some wheel spacers. Lots of guys out there using them.

Rock on!

nothing wrong with running your rear axle narrower than the front.

ive used the wheel adaptors before when i used the stock wheels to run 33's the tires rubbed so i got 1.5 inch adaptors at all 4 corners and ran it for a 6 months no problems . if you use adaptors every once in a while take your wheels off and re torque them
