That thing is looking good but how the hell did you get 16"KINGS in the back and not have the top of them sticking way up high?

Genright fenders, flares, corner blanks

Flares and fenders already a bit beat since these photos. If you wheel in the rocks, get steel. I know this has been a topic of debate for years. But now having these fenders for 2+ years, I wish I wouldve went steel.

I mounted them low on the axle so the top was flush with the top of the tub.

Nice work fitting those. Like to see more of that build & maybe compare notes on suspension tuning.
Edit, think I see now why you were able to fit those lower, are they 2.0s...?
If so they're 2.4" shorter collapsed compared to my 2.5s.

Used some remains of upper mount/hoops from previous 16x2.5 air shocks but the 16" Kings needed completely new upper & lower mounts, it does use ever bit of available travel

And a Dune Buggy pic.

35" mtrs
23" front bumper, 23" legwetters, 18" to the t-case skid, 17" to the np465...
3" springs, 1.5" body lift, 5" up, 6ish" down.
Needs more lugs nuts and less rear bumper, when the money tree blooms.

+1!

I want to move my front out some and get to 102-104" when the tons go under it.

Now that the build is finished, it's been a blast running trails this summer.

'05 TJ on tons, 14" ORI stx, long armed, hylined, 40" crawlers, HEMI/545RFE/ATLAS2 sitting at about 101", 22" to the frame rails, about 6" up, 8"down

^ Very clean! Looks like a good bit of that 101" WB is out front? Rear looks like ~4". Although it looks like the steering box is in the stock location and orientation. Can you give front/rear numbers?

Oh and what is the WMS of your axles??

Thanks !!

The rear is almost 5" back. I wanted to keep a rear fender flare for roadworthinessn as opposed to going comp cut.... Front is about 2.5". I pushed it out as far as i could with the stock steering box location/steering. The box itself was moved out a bit and rotated some but not allot. Frame had to be notched on the PS. On full stuff, the linkage just clears the rad/hoses and the upper CA just barely clears the oil filter on the HEMI.

Front is at 65" WMS. It's a snofighter that's been cut down with dutchman shafts.

Rear is a CC 14Bolt (63") with 1 1/4" spacers. Trails up here can be very narrow so as much as i wanted the wide stance look, it would have severely limited my trail abilities...

I think you misunderstood me. I know that pic is from Rausch because I took it. And just so everyone knows, you did not make it over that rock! Puny tires with no grip...
(Look at the two-trunked tree by the drivers side of the jeeps in both pics, you'll see its the same)

That pic you posted wasn't displaying the other day. Hence the misunderstanding

Love the fact it does not rust and is light. Hate the fact my fender flares and rear flares are beat to crap already. If I knew then what I know now I wouldve done aluminum corners, aluminum inner fenders, and steel fenders and rear flares and painted it all orange. Aluminum and rock crawling don't mix. From a guy with aluminum for 2+ years.
