Comp Cut Questions

I plan on compcutting and flat fendering my YJ this weekend, is there any write ups on this? Can anyone post up some pics so I can see how I want mine to look. Also for you guys, what did you do with the filler for the fuel tank? I really want to stay away from a fuel cell because I need the back seat for the little jeepers.
This is my Jeep with the 9inch rear and 38X12.50-15 installed the front axle is on the ground and I jacked up the front levle so i could set the rear pinion angle. stats on my jeep are SOA stock yj springs with 2inch BL..

without a fuel cell, you can't move the axle back enough to really get enough out of a comp cut. you might want to look into BTF or another fuel cell thatmounts in the stock location, but gives you more space for a stretch. look for TombRaider, i think his is a YJ, might be wrong...

My yj with compcut, no front tube fender yet. U can get a fuel cell that will fit behind the rear seat. Blue torch has a fuel cell that mounts under the jeep where the stock tank is located that will allow u to move the axle back

im sure someone still makes a fuel cell that will go behind the backseat. i agree with the above that if you are ready to do a comp cut you need to move the tank. the filler neck will odviously be cut out... buy a star and search. there is a sea of info and all that you will ever need right here on this board...
