4 link and changing tires

I am wondering what the effects will be if i set up my 4 link for 36's and then eventually move to say 39's. Will it cause any problems really. thanks

If you keep the same lift height, it will change your Instant Center, COG and a couple of other things, but not by much. If you have to add lift to get them to fit, everything's changed. If your numbers are good now, and you just cut up the body to add bigger tires, you'll be fine.
