NSG 370 to a D300???

I'm in the process of putting a 4.0('00) and 6spd('05) from a TJ into my cj7. Anyone know how (or where to get parts) to mate my D300 to this tranny?

Hmm

I would look into swapping an AX15 or NV3500 before the NSG. Should be able to sell that NSG, and buy an AX15 and come out ahead.

Ax15

AX15 is a decent transmission that is easy to come by. It is proven as a good medium duty transmission behind the 4.0L. The MB heritage of the NSG370 worries me.

Personally, I would be very wary of anything that D.C. did over the last few years.

Also

If it were my rig, I'd skip all of those and do a T18/SM465/NP435, with the T18 being my personal favorite.

X2 on the T-18. The mercedes tranny is a piece of shit, a friend already chewed his up, i heard mercedes were going thru them like a fat kid thru a bag of chips aswell. Plus if yoiu found a T-18 you would only have to change out the main shaft, bolt on adapter for the back, you wouldn't have to mess with bellhousings or the T-case to get it to mate to the motor or the T-case. I think the adapter and kit costs 300-400, much cheaper then rebuilding a shit ass mercedes tranny.
