Other than an Atlas...

How are you guys getting better crawl ratios?

I've got 4.56's and am locked so I'd rather do it w/o changing axle gears.

Thanks.

I swapped in an auto with my V8 swap and don't need crawl gears, and the tranny stays under 210 when crawling in the heat. WOrks for me.

i installed a D&D machine 231/300 crawlbox in my buddies tj and it works great.only thing is hes still drivers drop and we had to drill out the trans holes to flup the 231 case and flip the 300 i wasnt a fan of that method.id only do that again if it was for a pass drop.theres bunches you can do to get lower gearing just gotta research what you want a doubler lets u get 7:1 or your regular low range.an atlas is bulletproof.tou can 4:1 your 231,you can adapt a d300 and 4:1 that
