upper link mount, will this work?

im building a 4 link on a YJ and i came up with this upper link mount it's 1 3/4 .120 wall, it will be guesseted (sp?) to the frame also. This is my 3rd attempt at trying to find a way to mount my uppers. the red lines are where i plan on placing tubes. just wondering if this will work before i weld everything in.

so what do you think will it work?

First of all, I'd consider .188 to be a bare minimum for a link bearing cross member personally. Second, what kind of vertical seperation have you designed into the front links to need your uppers mounted that high? Third, if anything failed there, you would truly redefine an enema.

i can easily sleeve this with 1.5 .120 wall, my lowers are tucked up pretty high. Nothing hangs below the frame and i will have about 6-7" of vertical seperation on the frame end and 9" on the axle end

Can you triangulate the lowers more? Your RAA isnt scary bad, but its pretty bad.

so do you guys think that link mount will be strong enough if i sleeve it with 1.5" .120 wall and tie it into the frame and try to tie it into the B-pillar as much as possible?
