Postal grill or moving stock grill, need clearance

I need more clearance between my rad and water pump on my CJ7. Will the postal grill work on a CJ7 and how much does it move the rad forward?

Any other sugestions on moving the stock CJ groll forward 1.5"?

When I put the Chevy 350 in I kept the motor as far forward and as high as possible for a flat belly and long rear driveshaft. But, I kinda screwed myself for any decent electric fan like the Taurus 2 speed.

Anyone tried a short chevy water pump and keep the long water pump brackets?

Cut the grill and move everything forward to clear. Ford Taurus 2 speed fits really nice now. I did the same thing when I put the 5.2 in my 81 Scrambler. Complete flat belly.

What about the light buckets? I have my grill cut out already and the aluminum rad is as far forward as the light buckets will allow. I cant get rid of the head lights cause its still street driven.

I trimmed the light buckets slightly for it to fit correctly. Just had to notch out a small portion. They are still in there.
