can't complain about that ratio....funny you mention the bigger tires--I've been tossing the same around in my pea brain, but I still need to finish it!!

Kinda, I've been out a few times and keep finding little things I want to change. Nothing big, just getting all the bugs worked out. Last week coming up from Buck with my trailer the T-Case was popping out of gear, I took it to a local shop and found a bent shift fork and two shims needed to be reinstalled to align the gears and also a bad front output bearing. I may get it back today and hit the Con Saturday or Sunday
What a difference between the two, I really can't say I prefer one over the other, the little one can maneuver and pick lines, the big one just drives straight over shit like a big tank. Next project is slowing down throttle response, it seems too jumpy.
When you come down for the Barrett Lake run (9/20?), you need to drive it, I would like to get you opinion.

Let's confirm Barrett, get the crew together and check out your new rig. I'll need to take some hours off work so let me know. Michael may want to go too.

I'm in as long as I can get my work day covered, however I would not be to the trail head till 11am. I wouldn't get off work til 8am on Friday morning.

**Edit** I have my Friday covered, I'm in. If 11 is to late to hit the trail for the group, let me know. I also just bought a 50 watt mobile ham and griffin double pass radiator for my rig.

Sorry for the delay, yes, open to all (on the Willys forum) now that we have a date set in stone. If it's on your bucket list, absolutely. Hell, I'm actually the new guy, and I bumped into this group on the trail 5 years ago. Shooting for Friday AM at the trailhead, Rodney might be coming in a little late, but we can work that out.

Yes you have and I appreciate the offers. I was invited to hit Coyote Lake the last weekend of the month but think I am going to shoot for Barrett. What time do you plan to meet? I may need to head up Thursday night and find a place to spend the night. Wrights Lake is 5+ hours from my house right now.

I would normally go earlier to beat the rush, but I'm flexible. Maybe we meet at the trail head around 10, air down, have brunch, a few beers, then try not to rush Rodney.

Thanks for waiting for me! I will try and have my relief in early and be on my way ASAP. The rig will be packed and ready to go. Hopefully without my exhaust leak from last time, I will not superheat my fuel tank again. The last trip to Barrett was scary. It is all fixed now. Stainless steel Dave can not make it due to his sisters Birthday party.
