Awesome, I was hoping to see some wheeling pics in the Andes though. I know there has to be some great trails there. Where are you going to ship it to in the states?

Thanks guys, yes, we are ok.
Nobody was hurt, at list the people I know.
A lot of damage, buildings, highways etc...the sad part is the people that got killed, up to know 147 deads, but that number will increase for sure. The other big problem is the people that lost their houses, 1,5 Millions seems to have some kind of damage and other 500.000 houses have severe problems, mostly old constructions.
Again, thanks for the interest, I had receive a lot of emails from people I know in the States, as always, US people really take care of others

Awesome build, It makes me want to start digging into all the piles of parts I have aquired over the last few years and get my 45 GPW out on the trail. Best wishes to you and all your countrymen.

Svaras,

Could you give me some information on the steering column you went with? Also why did you ditch the rear blackout lights for Led's?

Thanks,

Well, now the wife is sleeping, I can continue posting
After dealing with a few bugs, finally yesterday was the D day.
But nothing is to easy.....it didnīt started until tonight.
The problem was that I did not have ground at the injector connectors. I did all the test you can imagine, but nothing worked. I donīt even remember how many times I checked the grounds and every single wire of that Jeep....but well, finally the only way to really solve the problem was to check continuity and pin out of ALL the harness. Of course Murphy showed up, and the last sensor connector I checked was the one with the problem. What it was ?....wrong pin for the ground of the TPS. Itīs suppouse to go on pin # 54 of the blue pcm connector, but it was hooked to pin # 55.........maybe the harness was build on january 1st ?
But well, I changed the ground pin, connected all back and it fire up righ away.

So now, only thing left is to route all the wires and thatīs it.

Here a pic of the wrong pin connection...

Update...after 1 week of testing on the street, a few things (details IMO) went wrong.
First was the master cylinder...this was a used MC/Hydro I bought on ebay. The corrosion inside the cylinder was amazing, so the piston tended to lock. A new MC solved the problem..the Jeep brakes really good, straight and with power.
Then was the TH350. The problem was I did not have 3rd gear. After inspecting everything, I found that te guy who rebuilded the tranny, didnīt put the vacumm modulator and a valve inside was locked. After fixing those 2 things, it shifts through all gears !
Finally the suspension was a little to stiff for me (Iīm getting older), so I decided to take out one leaf of each spring. Now it rides much better and it sits about 3" lower, what I really like !
Today I conmuted to my office in the Flatty...all I can say itīs a blast to drive. The combination of a modern V8 in a light rig itīs sweet.
Tomorrrow I will work in the last details...ARB compressor wiring, install the Bestop Rack, and the VHF radio.
Saturday will be the first trail test: DUNES !

A few pics from today...
