That's my buddy Dave, I did some of the body work and most of the wiring on that one. Cool dude, cool Jeep.

Thanks a ton man! I read your entire build after someone on another forum was talking about your awesome Willys. It's really a great build. I enjoyed it very much.

hmmm...

Either the CJ2A Page or the East Coast Willys forum. I forget which, but it was very complimentary of your work and your CJ. ( ;

That's my '73. I've owned it for about 25 years now, and it's nothing special by today's standards, but it still wheels pretty well.

2 1/2 Rancho lift, spring under, 35s on beadlocks, cut fenders. Mild AMC 304 with Holley Projection, T18, Dana 300 with TeraLow and 32 spline output, 4.10 gears and lockers front and rear.

Sorry, I don't have any pics.

It looks really cool! Like a final version of what I'm going for with mine.

Did the rims and tires from your CJ migrate over to Dave's CJ? I really like the wheels and the tires. What are they?

No they didn't. I actually had 9 wheels at one point, he got 4 of them for his. He has 32x9.5r15 TSL's on his Jeep, I have 34x9.5r15 on mine. Soon I'll be going to the BTR's with 35s or 37's.
The wheels I think are factory Jeep CJ5/7 Renegade. They do fit over my front discs.
They'll eventually end up on my M32APW Jeep. Lol.

In the quest for better approach angle, less weight, cleaner looks, etc... I ditched the bumper for a winch plate. I lost 26 pounds and 5 inches off the front of the Jeep. In the process I also went to a smaller standard size Howe fluid cooler for the steering system, located to the shock hoop on the drivers side.

You're totally right barely wheeled at all last year. I don't have a farm and a bunch of friends coming over all the time to make me wheel

Yeah that's all me, however it's designed over replacement frame horns made from 2x3. It should work on a stock frame. You might have the cut the frame ends back a little ways to fit everything. It was designed to leave enough room between parking lamps and the clutch lever. PM if you want more photos

All buttoned up. I ended up welding some tabs to the Belleview for the BD stealth light bar. Probably sacrilegious to have done that but this bar is small and works well.
Added the cherry on top from my friends over at Factor 55. Super pleased with how it all turned out, even if it's a booger hanging....

So in preparation for the new axles with ARB's I needed to clean up and re do the switch panel. At the same time when my girlfriend helped me spool the rope on, I realized that a Jeep set up for my 6'3 frame wouldn't quite fit her 5'1 frame. So I killed 2 birds this past weekend. New switch panel that everyone seems to hate, plus a Synergy Steering column installed. I was able to clean up a lot of the linkage between the column and the steering box as well.

Do you have any pictures behind the dash from your adjustable steering column? I've been considering this mod..
