been dicking with it a little. been busy trying to get the new school put together for the wife.

got the rear floor all hacked to shit so everything could come up thru it. got the wheel spacers installed (yeah.. fuggin dumb wide 9" wasnt wide enough! now it sitting at 78.5" WMS and is perfect. tires have about 1/2" of clearance on the body )

hoping to haul it over to the shop this weekend so i can get the motor/trans mounts done and start on the chop.

finally getting back to work on this.

loading on the trailer was a PITA with the lack of breakover angle.

now that its at the shop its time for motor/trans mounts, brake lines, driveline, gears, steering, fuel.

motor mounts are in, trans mount is in, headed to the shop this weekend to pull the body off, have to notch the front x-member to clear the crank pulley. then.. find something to work on. possibly start routing brake lines. or finish up the spring perches on the rear alxe, or work on the track-bar. who knows tons to do.

How long does it take you to bend brake lines?

baaahahahahaha

you guys just THOUGHT it was dead!

Truth of the matter is its been sitting out in the yard getting some more patina and letting the weeds climb up it for the last 9 months.

last weekend it moved to a new shop where we can work inside for the winter. friend is building a 42' by himself (see post 48, hes sceeping just as slowly) so we decided maybe we'd get these things done this winter, if we kept each other company and helped each other stay motivated.

rear suspension is officially 100% done as of last night.

new TURBO MOTOR has been purchased and will likely go in sometime this weekend.

next on the checklist is brakelines to the rear, wireing to the rear, driveline, fuel lines and exhaust so i can get the body on permanently. (this sounds strangely familiar...)

Progress will start happening again this weekend.

Same mbz diesel, but turbo!

Unfortunately I'm Fn stupid and trashed my torque converter pulling the old motor tonight. Oh well, it's only $ right? :banghead:
Gonna be a bit more until motor is in. Oh well. Plenty to do in the meantime.

New digs are helping the motivation facto though. I'm Damn excited to be working again, despite tonight's Fuck up.

Anyone know what size manual master cylinders i should run for a rear drum 9" and front Disk setup? Front was out of a Fullsize bronco.

brake calculator only works for disk/disk
