Seems real low on power so far. Not impressed. But i've been babying it as the last time I had it out the brakes were marginal, there was no way to turn it off, it rattled like hell because of the giant hole in the floor, i was getting fuel out of a gallon jug ziptied to the fender, the hood was held down with a bungy cord and i was shifting it manually through the hole in the floor...

tech heavy post: I got a new flag.

Just browsed this and caught up on the build, super cool. Love the look and stance, and the mixing and matching of new and old parts is perfect.

Spent the day Sat with CLR and scotch-brite pads. Finished out with a liberal coating of boiled linseed oil. Bitch cleans up NICE!

Today was build the trans tunnel/console/cupholders. That should all but finish up the sheetmetal work thank the Gods.

Finishing this thing up finally, maybe.

Residual pressure valve added to rear drums firmed up the pedal nicely. Unfortunately I need to resize the masters as the pedal is just too stiff (thought I might have to but these were basically free so I figured I'd try them first).

Had to plumb some vacuum back in to get the trans to shift properly.

Got a air filter figured out.

Deleted the ALDA and added a manual boost controller and boost gauge. Thing rips up and down the driveway now @ 11psi.

Ordered a wiring harness from speedway. Was hoping to have that in this weekend but that didn't happen. Maybe in the next few weeks.

Gotta car show on the 16th that I've been saying since I started this thread that I was going to make it to. (knock on wood) This year is the year. Got out and drove it a few miles yesterday and I'm pretty sure it can make it the 5 miles there. Buddy bought me a sticker so it's car show ready now.
