It's amazing how the terrain can vary so much in the same place. Couple of my favorites.

No, it's east of Bessimer off of Boone Rd, near Means Dry Lake.

That may be Claw, but it sure looks like you are going down the upper part of Sledge. The giveaway is that hill at the bottom is the escape with the high road shown.

Or do I need some more coffee?

I couldn't say for sure. You probably have a better idea than I do. We were having trouble with the gps coordinates all day. If it is sledge then I wont feel so bad about having to use the winch going up that same obstacle

Going up? That pic is going down. Did you go up, and then go down?

If you had to winch up that spot, then I know it's Sledge. Not very many 35" tired rigs can hit that line perfectly enough to make it without winching.

Went down, got stuck and winched on way up, and then went back down.

For the same reasons that folks dump their black water when they leave, burn pallets, leave dumpsters worth of trash behind, shoot clays without picking up the pieces, burn trash in fire rings, dump couches and burn stolen cars.

Billschmill 06-24-2008 01:04 PM

It's terrible to have to see those pics in a thread like this but that's the reality as well as what Blaine said. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly...

Why do people think that a fire ring is a trash can when they pull stakes and leave anyway???

And now back to the fun stuff! I like this pic because when I turned the corner and saw the holes I thought I was screwed for sure...
