1998 disco North American d1 diff not locking

Hey guys. I did a search for old posts with no luck. So here is my problem. When I lock the diff in low or high, I am only getting power to the front, and the limited slip is not working correct in the front. The rear wheels are not spinning, it seems like no power is getting to the rear end. If any of you can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Do you have an aftermarket limited slip diff up front? If not then you just have a standard open diff in the front and rear axles unless you've made upgrades.

Jack the truck up, all four off the ground.

Lock diff, turn front output flange. If the rear flange turns the opposite direction, it's not locked.

How does it drive unlocked?
