Wanted Underdrive or Crawler Gears

I'm hoping someone here has or knows of someone who has an underdrive or crawler gears for an LT230 they are willing to part with.

I believe Ashcrofts have options in this area.

Nope...They don't make the Underdrive anymore and don't offer any low low lt230 gears...

Great basin rovers makes gears for the lt230. Have you talked to them?

I have not called bill yet but yes I did know he had some options. I'm really hopping to find a used set if I can.

GBR sell gears. They do not make them. They are Maxidrive gears manufactured by MR Automotive in Australia.

I can't imagine that you would ever find a used item of either type. Why would anyone ever want to sell?

Thanks for the info Red!

I imagine someone somewhere has a set they no longer need. I'll use them for a few years and most likely decide to build bigger. At that point I'll sell them to buy a used Atlas 4 speed

Unfortunately, I doubt you'll find a crawler box... I spent a couple of years looking and then decided just to do a LS swap & fit a crawler box behind the NV4500. Best of luck !

If you find a underdrive be sure to snap it up! as they wont turn up often!
the 30% reduction gears do pop up from time to time. I sold my 49% LT230 when I got my underdrive.
