will the RCV Dana 44 CV Axle Set hold up to a 5.3 vortec, nv 3550 5spd,np231, 4.88 gearing in a 2000 TJ? its a hp44 from a 79 bronco. and what are if any the stipulations of the break it we replace it warranty?

Hey Guys, first let me say that I love my Dana 60 RCV's -- but they've started making popping noises. I pulled them out and cleaned them up and the socket shows some wear/deformation on the outer edges. I've checked the steering and as near as I can tell we're no where near 42 degrees.Are these OK to run or are they fixing to give me big problems?
