Solid 100% Carbon Fiber Truck Bed

Anyone here on pirate crazy enough to want to integrate a solid carbon fiber truck bed made for a big tire rig?

More info here:
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...699729025.html

If you're serious please shoot me a text at 818-3two6-6550. I'm not on here a ton as the moving prep is nutty (move driving sale).

Located in Orange County CA, and probably too big to ship. If I can't get what I'd like for it, my plan is to cut it up and make floorboards out of the thing for my FJ40.

Up. I'd really rather not chop this up but I can if needed.

Holler if you want it. Best guess I have two weeks until I cut it up.

Kinda a long shot, is this the bed for the LUV?

Indeed it is! For the truck variant that started and aborted.

How do you know it? The entire project was before my tenure...

The amount of stuff that Millenworks got rid of when they closed was pretty heartbreaking.

FYI, last chance on the carbon bed. I'm cutting it up this Friday.

How much does it weigh? Can you post a picture of it horizontal for a side view?

It's pretty much all 1/4" solid laminate (no core) and carbon is typically about 1/2 the density of aluminum. It's not a feather. Best guess 300 lbs. It's pretty tough to move with two guys so if I drag it out it's heading for the chop saw (still the plan for Friday).

Apologies but I'm just out of time to do anything else, so any pic I take would be the same shot rotated at an angle. My family is on a plane to a new state in 2 weeks and 3 days.

If you're serious, make an offer or set up a time to come see it.

When did you work at Millenworks? I started there in 09, and stayed until The aquidition got the best of me.

A buddy of mine owns the LUV now. I bet he will reach out shortly about buying the bed.
