Quick question. Would you recommend using this as the only support for the transfer case or should I retain the factory cross member?

The rear mount is intended as additional support. In your particular setup, I recommend the use of a crossmember further up your drivetrain.

How well would the rear mount work for a divorced 205? Would I need to add some other crossmembers along with this?

A crossmember off this rear plate could double for a one link set-up crossmember as well

I would think that would be a good place to start. You would obviously need something to compliment it on the opposite sides of the case.
