I'm needing your TH350 to figure 8 pattern adapter with the 18* clocked up position.
I'm also interested in my options for shifting the 205. I have the stock shifter now but I've built a custom console that puts the trans shifter about 10-12" above the floor and it'll be in the way of the T-case shifter.
I'd like some info on that please. At the very least, I'm PP ready for the adapter. Thanks.

PS. I tried for over a year to get one from someone else that never seemed to be able to get them made, then had an accident that's kept me out of the game for the past 2+ years. It's good to see someone filling the void and actually "making parts". I look forward to getting this best running for my girl atleast.

Most people bend a small piece of flat stock 18* bolt it to the factory shifter boss and put a nut on the factory shifter bolt in order to reuse the factory components. Once the shifter is mount you simply heat the base of it and bend it to your liking. On stock applications the shifter will normally line back up with the rubber boot so I would think your console would not be an issue. Sending PM now. Thanks,
Mike

Just got mine installed into the Jeep this last weekend. I'm SUPER happy with the fitment of all the holes and how everything located. Had I known how close to the body it was, I'd have gone with a 30* clocked request, but a little beating on the underside of the floor and wa-la.:)
I used Red loctite on all the threads and am now ready to replace the rear yoke and install the shafts (as soon as the rear gets here.)

Thanks SO MUCH again for the GREAT product.
I'll have to see what I can work out shifter wise but after 3+ yrs, I'm just glad to have the thing DONE!

I don't have pics posting ability right now, but heres a link that shows my Jeep and the clocked up T-case further down on the first page. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=337108

need one for a th350/205 to 97009. also stupid qquestion but this will allow me to use all stock internals correct? thanks

mpascino 10-17-2011 05:10 PM

Sending PM. Use of the clocking plate will not require opening or modification of the trans or tcase. Unbolt your stock adapter from the tcase, bolt the supplied gasket, rtv, and plate to the face of the tcase and reinstall the setup with the second gasket, rtv, and supplied hardware(at the clocking postion desired of course). Presto! :bounce2: You'll have to make a small bracket to reuse your factory shifter but that's it.

Okay im kinda new to 4wd stuff but my question is why are you clocking the transfer case upwards? I thought you would want to drop it for a better angle if you could explain it to me it would be helpful and would it be possible to make on for a nv4500 to np205 in my 78 dodge w200 powerwagon?

The 205 is an all gear driven case, with no oil pump inside. As long as you maintain the oil quantity you won't have an issue.

Mike
