No need to sell your 205, we can make the 2wd to round pattern adapter. Price would be the same as the original.
Thanks,
Mike

Very nice design.

Have you considered a T400 to 203 adaptor?
Some want to clock or flip the 203 behind a T400. The OEM T400-203 adaptor (only about 1.1" long) would be hard to make like this but you could do a longer version.

The NP208 version T400 would be about 2.5" long and the NP205 version would be about 4.5" long.

This would be a fantastic option.

When can produce pretty much any TH400 to 203 or 205 setup with different output shaft lengths. An infinitely clockable plate for a stock 400/203 combo should be possible. I'll need to draw it up to get the concept on the computer and take a few measurements to confirm . Which setup are you most interested in? These are the ideas that get things flowing. Thanks!

Are you looking for a clocking ring, or an adapter kit?

You would be best off getting yourself an NP 205 off that was mated to a TH-400 originally. This tcase will have a 32 spline female input which will fit the output shaft your transmission has. Depending on which output shaft your transmission has you may be able to bolt a factory adapter. Either way an adapter similar to the one highlighted in the post will get everything mounted together.

Thanks,
Mike

What is the overall length of the adapter face to face? Is this or could it be setup to be used as a Fig. 8 205 to round 6 both 205 adapter? Can you lengthen or shorten the setup to make the adapter shorter or longer?

I have been planning a home built 208 or 241/205 doubler setup and this would help make this much easier to do by allowing easier use of the Fig. 8 205's and also allowing enough space for shift rail clearence.

We can make the adapters any length you need and pretty much any bolt pattern. Figure out what bolt pattern you'll have on each case face and the spacing you will need and I am sure we can help you work it out.

For what it's worth, skip the 208 doubler and go for the 241. We have made a bunch of them in our time, the 208 is not worth the effort and the 241 gears are far superior. If you need some help working out details or need some one-off part s made we can help you out.
