Help Me Get My Mountain Bikes Back on the Road

I used to be a bike mechanic 20 years ago when I was a teen. I still have two bikes from way back then.

Rocky Mountain Thin Air and a Davinci something or other (whatever Ford gave away with new Explorers back in 1999ish).

I haven't had them on the road in over a decade but now my kids are big enough to want me to ride with them.

I have no idea if parts are available for such old junk, and I don't even know where to begin to make sure I buy parts that will fit. Any help is appreciated.

So, the Thin Air I bought all new XTR 9 speed stuff for, but must have misplaced the chain. I might have 100 miles on the new hardware. The cassette says HG CS M750.

Do I just buy a shimano 9-speed chain? I'd like comparible quality to the XTR stuff I have.

As for the Divinci, somehow I'm missing the cassette and nut. The front sprockets say IG. The hub is Acera.

If someone could spoonfeed me the part numbers I need that'd be great. Links to amazon would help even more.

My bikes are both old school and will stay that way till I run out of spares.

1999 Santa Cruz Superlight.
Identical drivetrains, XTR 9 speed, XTR shifters and brakes, XT front, RaceFace cranks and bottom bracket, Shimano 747 pedals.

20 years old, thats almost brand new. Both my Bianchi Grizzly and Specialized Allis were new in 1988. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/ I used this site previously to find some bearings.
