Moab Trip in March

Hey guys,

I'm taking a trip out to moab in mid march for a week of riding. I'm looking for some trail reccomendations and other moab tips to make my trip as enjoyable as possible. Anyone that has info on their websites: ie- photos, trails, etc. are appreciated. I'll have my truck so transportation in the area isn't a problem.

Thanks in Advance,

Joe

I'll also be in moab 16-18th for some wheeling and riding. I've only ridden a few trails out there, but at the top of moab rim there is north shore style bike park w/ bridges, skinnies and such, and if you're in mood for an all day (or multi-day) ride the white rim trail is awesome but be prepared it is ninety miles or so.

Porcupine Rim is a great trail. It can be done as a shuttle run or ride up the road from town to the trailhead.

Best bet is to stop in at Poison Spider or Chili Pepper and ask. Definitely try the sandwiches at the Red Rock Bakery on Main.

Porcupine is kewl... pay the dough and get a ride in the MOG by the guy who ferries people up there....kinda slow but he might do a crawl up something fun if you ask nicely.

Yeah its definitely not hard to find advice in Moab. "Most" of the shops are really cool and have cool people. Last couple times Ive gone without my bike, someone has always happily lent me theirs. Last year I got a Foes FXC for 3 days in trade for a 12 pack. Major stoked. Porcupine is awesome, Slickrock is a total experience (if you have the lung power, ride it backwards).
