Any 1" steer tube forks left out there?

I have a klein fervor, I love the bike but need a better fork.

This is the only place I have found that you can go with a 1" steer tube:

Finally real tech in the MTB forum.

If your current fork has bolts on the crown to clamp onto the stanchion tubes then you are in luck.

Find a modern fork with the same size stanchion tubes and carefully cut off the press fit crown and steer tube. Insert modern fork legs and stanchion tubes into original crown and then drink a beer.

I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thing i have read in a long time.

most stancions are not the same as the old ones, axle to crown lengths are different and the new tubes are not designed to be clamped.
