Newbie Ahoy!

Officially checking in, thought it would be prudent. I am currently in Huntsville, AL but ought to soon be back home in Savannah, GA once more. I'm totally new to this whole field--All I know is that I want to know more, basically! So thank you in advance to anybody that sees fit to help me out.

Talking 'Ello everybody!!

If I were any more of a newbie, I'd be an ovum! Nevertheless, I'm here to say hello. I live in Portland Oregon and I don't own a cruiser....YET! But I've been an admirer of them and have had the extreme pleasure of riding shotgun in an awesome 1985 F60 that is jacked to high heaven. I'm still deciding which is the best ride for me ( I bounce between the newly discovered Iron Pigs to F60s to 80 series to FJ Cruisers, it just depends on the day). Looking forward to getting to know more about Cruisers and meet the folks who love them so. Thanks everybody! Cheers.

Thanx again!

Newbie here reporting for flaming? Thanks again for welcoming me to the site. I have been wheeling with my family my whole life. Now I have been wheeling my own jeep for eight years. I am in fact working on it today getting ready for my first trip to the Rubicon. I have a question for those who have done the trail any amount of times. HOW HARD IS IT? I have heard reports as scary as "even the bypasses will tear your rig to shreds". To "we do it every year in a stock cj". I dont want the surprise ruined, however I would like some clarity please!

I'm old as dirt and have been wheeling in one form or another for about 45 years. Currently messing with a couple of XJ's. I now do mostly mud, it's what we have here, rocks are scarce .
