JBThompson Hey guys, just picked up this 94 Montero SR. Needs a little work but she's a solid rig with a ton of potential. Needs a sending unit for the fuel gauge and I need to track down an issue with the wipers as they do not currently work but my guess is either a relay or the switch. They quit working and the previous owner wired in a toggle switch but that als stopped working. A little rust here and there but nothing major, and the frame is solid.

DRTDEVL Montero with issues, brought home on May 8th...

And 2 weeks later:

Not building for off-road, but for a good, quality winter commuter in North Dakota. I depart in 2 weeks for my new job up there in my class A diesel pusher RV; ; the bumper was built specifically with an aluminum collapsible IBIS TEK towbar in mind (got used form a friend for $50) like this one:

So far, I have run into the following: Bad switch for the driver's window and two broken teeth on the regulator (rigged up regulator to work for now, repaired switch), bad wiring to the passenger door (ignoring for now), a/c recharged, then the compressor failed a week later (not going to need it up there), corrected alignment in order to have the steering wheel sit straight, sealed up exhaust (except cracked manifold, will get header at a later date), replaced mikuni carb with bad depression chamber and rigged wiring with a Weber 32/36 conversion, built new front bumper with shackles in order to use tow bar behind my RV, fixed skid plates, fixed radio wiring... and I still need to find a new combination switch (the wiper control arm is broken out of it) or use a toggle tapped into the wiper wiring to have wipers again and I need to find the innards for the steering wheel in order to have a working horn.

12 days until departure... I got this.

Pajero 2.8 TDI from Portugal - B'King

Hi all this is my Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 TDI from Portugal. Never ending project
Got this machine completely stock and after 2 years it looks like this:

LukasA I love the first two generations Pajero! Especially with the 4D56-engine in it.

Thatīs my 1987 Pajero 2,5 TD DL Wagon:

Completely original, except the alloys. Low miles, superb condition, tidy and almost rustfree. Itīs my only-summer-always-garage-never-gets-offroaded-queen. Itīs the DL, so it has no electric windows, no central locking, no AC, almost nothing except the extra-gauges and the swinging seats in the front.

And thats my 1989 Pajero V6 3000 Deluxe Metal Top:

Itīs not completely original, itīs not low-miles, itīs not in superb condition and itīs definately not almost rustfree. Thatīs my project, Iīm trying to restore it the next few years. Itīs the "Deluxe", so itīs got power-everything, an AC, cruise control etc. etc. ...
