Gregg_O The people you bought your kit from wont want to tell you this because they dont want you hacking up their product. I just recently made 3 sets of these brake brackets. 2 for myself and one for a friend. I copied the ones from offroad design. On my friends set I ran into this same problem. After realizing that the holes would still line up, i just cut the bottom hole off the brackets and ground the inner circle to fit around the hub. The best part was that i didnt have to use the spacers, everything was dead on and they worked great.

14 bolt disc brakes

have a question for those who have done a disc brake swap on a newer model 14 bolt ff. (1996, under my one ton) bought the disc brake brackets from diy4x, but they said that they will not bolt up without having to modify the hub, machine it down so that the brackets sit flush. could anyone tell me exactly what needs to be done so that i can take them to the machine shop. would like to get this underway. i already searched, and read everything on the swap, but couldnt find anything on the newer axle. thanks
