No, this is intended for 1-2" diameter saplings that are being sold as "bare root trees" to places like apple orchards. They are 5-7' tall and 1-2" in diameter at the base. They ship the in a crate with damp sawdust around the roots.

Why would it be so tall if itís used on solid dry ground ?

Noticed the tunnel all the way thru

Ha! That's the Gagliardi's! My wife's family is good friends with them. Their farm is right by their house. She basically grew up riding through their orchards as a kid. What a small world.

That makes sense, the bottom hoop would go under the roots of your sapling, the wheels in front keep it from digging too deeply, the top hoop would lean the tree forward and then the whole thing can run over it so you can get your trees free to load into boxes to ship out.
