|Curbkrawler||First things first, deflate your chest and try some humility and people would will be much more likely to offer advice. That being said, since you have no plans for offroad use, I would recommend you find a set of late model CJ wide track axles and corresponding booster/master cyl. As long as you stick with a mild motor (which sounds like you are) and 35's and below, there is no need for anything more than that. Install a set of one piece shafts and weld the tubes (really not needed if its going to be a street queen). The factory front discs, rear drums, and factory master cyl are more than adequate. If you absolutely must do rear discs, there are a ton of cheap swaps but you will need to change the proportioning valve. Don't make it anymore complicated than necessary.|

Cheapest way is to buy a later model CJ Dana 30 front and use the parts off of that for the front. I would suggest a '79 to '81, better hubs. I changed to GM pickup calipers, better yet, but some $ for brackets. I had the right spindles to start with. You don't need to change knuckles.
Why disc rear? For your use, rear drums will be fine.
Then your existing MC will work. Buy a new proportioning valve for one of the CJ model years above.
Power steering box depends on a lot of things, kind of depends on your engine, and what pump you can get. Your original post left out some important information...
Steering column? What's wrong with what you have? GM Tilt, late 70's is pretty typical.
Can't remember the blower motor thing, seems like late 70's blazer without AC. I would have to search to be sure. Not sure it's worth my effort.
Of course, the advice you receive on the internet is worth only what you pay for it... Probably should fact check mine.

cherokees had both like you stated and went away from the cad in 91 coil sprung.
tjs were low pinion and coil sprung.
ALL drivers drop Wont work in cj with stock tcase
I know this isn't rocket science just posting the info for those that don't know

If it were me, I'd grab those Waggy axles, some YJ leafs, and a newish master cylinder and booster from a WJ.
I'd put new bearings/u-joints in the axles, gear for the tire you want, use large backspaced wheels to accommodate for the width you desire and feel damned good about the $2K you just spent on your jeep.
Edit: depending on your fenders and steering you can use that Peggy's front leafs and pitman arm to help with a stretch.

I have done a crap load of searches with conflicting results and nothing pertinent to MY application that CLEARLY outlined what parts were used from what year vehicles.
THANK YOU weaselworx & mh4runner for chiming in. Maybe I should explain a few things, My jeep was a quadratrac, passenger side drops. 305chevy w/th400 automatic tranny to the quadratrac tcase.
Im contemplating dropping in a 4.3 with either a th350 or 4L60. I have bought a Dana 18 tcase which will keep my current driveline geometry. I am NOT mudding, or rock climbing...just a street jeep. just looking to make it as comfy as possible for my 5'2" 100lb wifey.

Too bad you are not closer, there is a guy with an 86 CJ7 selling the axles cheap. If you are not having breakage issues with your current set, that would net you the front discs, the stronger D44 rear and the newer "wide-track" axle width.
If you do a knuckles out swap, you will have to address your steering linkage issues.
If it were me, and wanted to stay somewhat stock looking, a modified Wagoneer front end, and a 1986 CJ Dana 44 rear end would be the route I would go. I have done it for customers in the past, and it was much stronger than stock, but didn't look like a set of full width axles slung underneath it.

|Weaselworx||you might want to look into just doing an axle swap find a junkyark ford 8.8 with disk for the rear and as long as your not running large tires . guys basically give there dana 30s away.. find one solid not the vacuum disco kind. after 1991 the xj Cherokee dana 30 got rid of the vacuum disco and I believe all of them are high pinion as well. it all depends on what tire size u plan on running|

Column swaps are purely dependent on what you wanna use. The brake swap, well....search, been done a hundred thousand eleventy billion times. Power steering...same as brakes. Blower motor? What blower motor?

I have read 100's of posts...for every person who says one thing another refutes it.....wth ? And PLEASE for the love of god! do NOT tell me what you or a friend used on your/their completely unrelated jeep! NO OFFENSE!! but it just doesn't help and lends to confusion. (mine)
I have a 76 CJ7, dana 30 front, amc 20 rear drum/drum however, there was a mc w/booster & proportioning valve.
jeep is completely torn down. This is what I want to do, with as low as a budget as possible.
1. upgrade front drum to disc*** local junkyards don't have squat! can I change knuckles?
2. upgrade rear drum to disc** might buy plasma cut brackets & use 300zx calipers
3. mc & booster upgrade to work with 4wheel disc** new proportion valve?
4. power steering box** what will bolt up?
5. steering column swap** donors?
6. blower motor upgrade**
I am wanting to use as much junkyard stuff as possible. PLEASE again, PLEASE list years of vehicles for options!! telling my to pull from a waggy without listing a year is NO help guys...THANKS SO MUCH!!
