Welby Cool,
I actually wanted 5 of them but the owner didn't want to break up a set. Lucky you

They get in blems all the time. I'll pick up a 35 blem one of these days...

Thanks!

I just got my hands on the other 4 35's at Essey and will be picking them up on the 29th. I ended up getting white wagon wheels from Summit and the total package came to $676.54 mounted and balanced.
Pretty good deal I'd say. Only thing else I need to get is lug nuts which I figure is about another $20. Thanks for the heads up on the tire deal.

Welby CORRECTION:

OK, I called about the tires this morning and the guy said he messed up, the price was $104.95. I said "WTF"...He told me since he made a mistake he would give them to me for $95 each... I went with it and got them mounted up...

$105 is still a decent price for 35's, if you ask me, so if anyone's interested, he has 4 left...

I still have my 33" grabbers, with really decent tread left on them. Any local people, if you want them, it's $100....I can mail pics if you want...yadda yadda.

kstomper the generals work great in the east, and last mucho longer than the swampers. there is actually a general plant (continental tire) in the next county and several friends work there which means discounts for me!!!! i have experienced cuts and chunking of the tread but cant complain after abusing them for 4 years with no flats and 28k miles. i have made many people jealous with them! run them proudly!

Sellin 'em to you if you want them Then I'll definitely buy those 35's!

$100 for all 4 if you want them, I'll give you my retread spare too, since I wouldn't need it.

There's alot of tread left on all but one which has probably 3/16" left.... C'mon man, buy em!!

flimmy Welby1220, do you have to work tomarrow ? I don't, maybe I'll go down there when they open and buy 5 also. Thats right there only getting 8. That would leave you with 3 no I wouldn't do that to ya What are you doing with your old 33's ?

toymaniac Grabbers in my experience rank along side bfg mt., just cheeper and louder. I'd say go for it, especially at that price. Unless your really gettin it and your tires are holding you back go for the grabbers.

Little Joe: Like I said, I did slice one, and the rest have their fair share of gouges/chunks,etc. , but they've held up pretty well... That price kind of makes it hard to turn them down, ya know?

little_joe That is a helluva deal!

But, you guys have had good luck with the Grabbers? My 33" MT's work good offroad, but they are really cut up and one has a bad bulge now. And I'm just a wimpy mall-cruisin IFS Toyota driver.
12-06-2001 03:44 PM
badassjeepguy i had the best luck with them generals...... id buy em again if they came in 39.5 inch.................

Good tire deal in S.W. PA

Just letting you PA guys know. I called Essey tire in Rostraver about blem 35 x 12.5's, and tomorrow they're getting in some General Grabber MT's for $89.95 each. These aren't even blems, and they're that cheap.
I bought blem 33's the summer before last and like the Grabbers alot. I did cut one sidewall, but they've stood up to a fair amount of abuse. I was going to go wth Swampers next, but for this price, I might just pick up the 35" Grabbers...
Hell that's almost half the price of Swampers.

I know they aren't for the hardcore rock people, but for PA wheeling , I dig 'em.

They're getting in 8 tomorrow. Of course, if I decide to pick them up, they'll be down to 3

E-mail if you want directions, etc....

And no I don't work there. Just lettin' you know, in case you need tires...
