This is my rig, lovingly named Norm by JayMcJay. Norm was supposed to be parted out, but got made into a rig. He's been a few different places and done a decent amount of wheeling in his 2.5 years of existence as a rig. He started life as an 86 F-350 4x4 Chassis Cab dump truck. I bought him as a parts truck after the dump bed had been harvested. |

Picked this up almost a year ago. I've been driving it a few days a week since. The 302 needs a little help (200k on the clock), and there is a huge driveline clunk somewhere in it when taking off from a stop. I'm just waiting for something to break so I have an excuse to tear into it  I have a '78 Bronco rolling chassis I will be using for the SAS here soon.

71 f100 going for a mix a trail rig prerunner for general SoCal desert. Shortbed 4x4 300i6 I've got an np 205 for it in the backyard. Used it to tow for a while but the bug is gone and its gotta be the desert truck now.          Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk |

| holdmypocket | Can you post some pics of that extra bumper/cross-member under the chrome bumper? I want to add a tow hitch to the front of my 78 so I can put a hitch mounted winch there, and maybe throw some d-rings on it like you did. | |

Our father son project. '75 F-250 Highboy frame with a '72 body dropped on it with a '71 grille We loved the '72 body because it has so much character. Has a 390 bored .40 over with a mild cam, intake and headers. My dad built the crossover steering from scratch using the 2wd steering box from the 2wd truck we pulled the body off of. Final result is a loud, obnoxious parts runner/snowplow that brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. |

 Just picked up this stock 1978 F150 4X4 the other week: 351M C6 NP205 Hi-pinion D44 w/discs Ford 9 Plans: - Currently getting it worthy of state inspection to get regular plates - 35's with as little lift as possible - debating dropping a mini spool in the rear (worried about how it'll behave on snowy/icy roads) Future plans: - 460 - AC - Cage - Duff arms - D60 front / Sterling rear - ARB lockers - 37's (still with as little lift as possible) - 4.10/4.56 - Atlas |
